Family eel rice bowl meal after a health checkup at Manmok, Gangnam
Manmok is a Japanese restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, serving a single menu: eel rice bowl. After a family health checkup, three of us ordered three half-size eel rice bowls, each served as an individual set with salad, steamed egg, and a pine mushroom broth we refilled three times after adding sansho pepper powder. It was a satisfying, restorative meal that ended with a dessert ice cream everyone loved.
