Charcoal cleansing balm for oily, blemish-prone skin: HEEDA
In short
I tried HEEDA Jirisan Moisturizing Charcoal Cleansing Balm, a Korean charcoal cleansing balm for skin with oiliness, blemishes, and blackheads. It spread smoothly over my dry face, and my nose and under-eye areas looked cleaner after rinsing, though I plan to keep watching for changes in blemishes and blackheads.

What were the charcoal cleansing balm’s texture and components like?

The product came in a black container. There was a small spoon inside the lid, so I could scoop out the amount I needed. It looked firm at first, but it scooped up softly. I removed the clear inner case after twisting off the lid.

How did I use it?

I spread it evenly over my dry face, then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. On areas where blackheads or pores concerned me, I applied it while massaging in circular motions with my fingers. The instructions said to add a little water to emulsify it before massaging areas with heavy makeup.

How did it feel on my skin the first time?

Before using it, I had oiliness and blemishes, and blackheads in several areas were bothering me. I focused a little more on my nose and under-eye areas, and it spread smoothly even over my dry face.

After cleansing, I compared only my nose and under-eye areas without applying it to my forehead. The areas where I used it looked cleaner than before, and I was happy with the first-use feel. Still, rather than drawing conclusions about changes in blemishes and blackheads after one use, I plan to keep watching.
