In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm for dry, sensitive-feeling skin. How did it feel to use when inner dryness and blackheads were concerns?

In hot, humid weather, increased sebum made the blackheads around my nose stand out. Oil-type cleansers felt a little burdensome in summer, so I tried HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm.

The product was introduced as a vegan cleansing balm containing 10,000 ppm of Korean Jirisan charcoal. A spatula was included inside the black packaging, making it easy to scoop out the amount I needed and store it.

What are the texture and directions like?

The balm was not extremely firm, so I could scoop it out easily with one hand. Once on my face, it melted moistly and softly at skin temperature, and because it did not run, it was easy to apply exactly where I wanted.

I spread it evenly over a dry face, then massaged in circular motions, focusing on areas where blackheads and pores were a concern. For heavier makeup, I massaged lightly, added water to emulsify it, and rinsed with lukewarm water.

How did it remove lip products and blackheads around my nose?

After using it on lip products, I rolled it on gently and rinsed with lukewarm water, and they came off cleanly. I sometimes use a separate remover for lip products that do not come off easily, but cleansing with this product felt convenient.

Around my nose, I scooped some out with the spatula, applied it to the areas of concern, and massaged thoroughly. After one use, the small blackheads beside and at the front of my nose seemed mostly cleared away, but I felt that larger blackheads would need several uses.

Was there any tightness or irritation after cleansing?

My skin gets severely dehydrated beneath the surface, and I tend to worry about breakouts with new products, but I did not feel any tightness or dryness after cleansing. There was no residue either, and it left my skin feeling moisturized.
