Cheongdam Kkatsu is a Japanese-style pork cutlet restaurant by Gangnam-gu Office Station in Gangnam, Seoul. We tried spicy kkatsu nabe, the Cheongdam combo cutlet, and pollock roe mixed udon on a weekday evening, and loved the crisp coating, thick juicy meat, and generous portions. Verdict: a satisfying choice for solo lunches or sharing several dishes at dinner.

Gangnam Korean BBQ set with cheese fried rice: Giun

Giun Gangnam Station Main Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul. We ordered a ₩58,000 pork belly and mixed-meat set, with staff-grilled meat, plenty of sides, and risotto-like cheese fried rice. Verdict: one of my most satisfying recent BBQ meals.
