Offal BBQ in Cheongju Dongnam-jigu: marinated heart set at Chodaechang
Chodaechang Cheongju Dongnam-jigu Branch is a daechang (large intestine) and offal BBQ restaurant in the Penta Square building in the central shopping district of Dongnam-jigu, Cheongju, Chungbuk. The writer ordered the grilled assortment A set of daechang, makchang, teugyang (premium tripe) and heart for 66,000 won. Staff grilled the marinated offal over charcoal from start to finish, and the marinated heart and the teugyang had especially good textures. With upscale side dishes through to dessert ice cream, Chodaechang is a Dongnam-jigu BBQ spot worth a return visit.
