Korean BBQ in Apo, Gimcheon: seasoned pork bulgogi at Sonamu Sikdang
Sonamu Sikdang Gimcheon Main Branch is a Korean restaurant in Apo-eup, Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, specialising in seokswe bulgogi (pork grilled on a wire rack over charcoal briquettes). The order was two servings of seasoned domestic female pork, a chive pancake and steamed rice, served with a homemade-soybean doenjang stew and banchan the kitchen says it makes fresh daily. The smoky flavour was exactly as remembered from the first visit, and the meal again ended completely stuffed.
