After a dental appointment, the writer arrived almost as soon as it opened for a solo grilled octopus (jjukkumi) hot-plate set with a taste-size tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) add-on, plus the self-bar's fried egg, hutgae tea, roasted seaweed, and barley candy. A Banwoldang favorite worth revisiting if you love jjukkumi.
