Apgujeong Rodeo BBQ restaurant, straw-fire pork belly: Chobeoljip
Chobeoljip Apgujeong Rodeo Branch is an aged pork belly Korean BBQ restaurant right in front of Apgujeong Rodeo Station in Gangnam, Seoul. At an outdoor table the writer had two servings of chobeol samgyeopsal (pork belly pre-grilled over a straw fire) plus seafood doenjang stew, and the aged kimchi cooked in the pork fat was the star of the table. With the owner grilling at the table and solid free side dishes, Chobeoljip is a good pick for outdoor Korean BBQ in Apgujeong.
