Daegu Korean restaurant, four dishes shared by three: Hyangtaek
Hyangtaek Daebong Branch is a Korean rice-bowl restaurant right outside Exit 3 of Gyeongbuk Uni Hospital Station on Daegu Subway Line 2. Three of us came on a Sunday at 2pm and shared mackerel gondre rice (14,000 won), herring roe bibim noodles (13,000 won), yukhoe bibimbap (14,000 won) and a side of Cheongsong-style chicken bulgogi (9,000 won), and the seasoning was light enough that nobody felt heavy afterwards. A neat, balanced Korean spread worth booking for a healthy meal out or lunch with parents.
