Korean restaurant by Banwoldang Station, Daegu: weekend lunch set
Banwoldang Bujasikdang is a Korean restaurant on Gwandeokjeong-gil in Jung-gu, Daegu, right across from the Banwoldang Dong-A Shopping Center. On a weekend lunch visit with kids, the table ordered stone-plate buja seokgalbi (soy-marinated grilled short rib) for three, cheonggukjang doenjang jjigae (rich soybean paste stew) and bibimbap, and the portions were generous while the soy-marinated rib stayed tender enough for children to eat easily. With a self-serve bar of ssam vegetables, garlic and chili peppers, Banwoldang Bujasikdang makes a filling family lunch.
