Hanwoojang is a 24-hour gukbap (rice-and-soup) restaurant on Gukchaebosang-ro in Jung-gu, Daegu, serving since 1968. The order here was special seolleongtang (milky ox bone soup) and yangtang (beef tripe soup), eaten with self-serve kimchi and kkakdugi and a spoonful of dadaegi (spicy chili paste) stirred in for heat: the seolleongtang came out soft and mild, while the yangtang had chewy tripe and a heavier broth.
