Duruchigi and kimchi pancake with a kids' menu, Daegu: Cafe Dongi

Cafe Dongi Daemyeong Station Branch is a Korean restaurant in Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu, near Apsan and Seobu Bus Terminal. The family ordered duruchigi (spicy stir-fried pork), kimchi stew, tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and kimchi jeon (kimchi pancake) for one full table, and a separate kids' menu made feeding a child easy. Cafe Dongi is a good family pick when you can't decide and want to try a bit of everything.

Beomeo-dong Daegu Korean restaurant with a kid: Banwoldang seokgalbi

Banwoldang Buja Sikdang Suseong Branch is a Korean restaurant on Beomeocheon-ro in Suseong-gu, Daegu, serving stone-plate seokgalbi (grilled short ribs) along with spicy pork and squid stir-fries. Visiting with her child, the writer ordered the stone-plate buja seokgalbi for two at 14,000 won, and a cheonggukjang (rich fermented soybean stew) came free, filling out the meal with meat, soup and side dishes. Nobody has to grill at the table and the child ate both rice and meat happily, which made Banwoldang Buja Sikdang an easy choice for eating out with kids.
