Thai Yami is a Thai restaurant on Gyeongsanggamyeong-gil in Jung-gu, Daegu, close to Gyodong and Dongseongno. Dinner at Thai Yami was ordered by tablet from the bar seats facing the open kitchen: pad thai (stir-fried rice noodles), kai phrai (fried chicken salad) and a draft beer. The bean-sprout-heavy pad thai and the cheese-topped kai phrai went so well together that the plates came back almost empty.
