Daegu Shinsegae cake shop with birthday shaped candles: Siznique
Siznique Shinsegae Department Store Daegu Branch is a seasonal fruit cake shop in Sweet Park on basement level 1 of Shinsegae Daegu in Dong-gu. During a week when her husband's and daughter's birthdays overlapped, the writer stopped by at around 2pm on a Sunday and bought the Peach Wareureu cake along with shaped candles; the cake held its shape when sliced and the cut face was packed with peach flesh. The milk cream at Siznique was light rather than heavy, so her daughter ate the cream too, making it a cake worth choosing for special days and ordinary ones alike.
