Cleansing balm for very dry skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal

How did it feel on very dry skin after cleansing?

When choosing cleansing products, I pay particular attention to skin irritation and tightness after washing. This one left my skin feeling moisturized, without feeling overly squeaky-clean or oily after cleansing.

I also kept using it around my nose, where blackheads and sebum tend to concern me, and the area felt noticeably smoother. However, it was difficult to say that my pores had visibly changed in a short period.

Was the texture and emulsifying process easy?

Although it is a firm balm, it melted softly when it met the warmth of my hands, making it easy to spread over my face. It had a subtle scent rather than a strong fragrance.

I scooped out an appropriate amount with dry hands, gently massaged my entire face, then added water to emulsify it. The balm turned oil-like, and after rinsing with lukewarm water, it felt refreshed without a slippery residue. I felt that a separate second cleanse was unnecessary.

How was it for makeup removal and sebum care?

In my experience, even waterproof products came off without much difficulty. I tried it when I was wearing makeup or wanted to manage sebum and blackheads, and it suited me when I wanted to consider both cleansing performance and the finish on very dry skin.

The experience can differ depending on skin type. I felt that even someone using a cleansing balm for the first time would not find the texture difficult to handle, and I plan to keep using it while watching for changes in my skin condition.
