On a holiday trip to Yeoju Premium Outlets, the writer stopped for lunch and ordered the braised cutlassfish rice set, starting with four appetizers — japchae (glass noodles), salad, mung bean jelly and fried eggplant — before the stone-pot rice and a finish of nurungji (scorched rice).
