Pohang mulhoe restaurant after the Yeongildae marathon: Ppwang Mulhoe
Ppwang Mulhoe is a mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) restaurant on Haean-ro by Yeongildae in Pohang, Gyeongbuk. After running the Pohang Battery Marathon, the writer and her husband ordered abalone squid mulhoe and a squid-and-flounder half-and-half mulhoe, added unlimited self-bar side dishes and squid soup, then poured the icy broth over somyeon (thin wheat noodles) and rice to finish. Both bowls went down with no fishy taste, making Ppwang Mulhoe an easy recommendation in Pohang.
