Seongbuk bar open till 5am with egg porridge finish: Yesulgwan

Yesulgwan Sungshin Women's University Branch is a Korean bar and restaurant two to three minutes' walk from Exit 2 of Sungshin Women's University Station in Seongbuk, Seoul, filling an entire ground floor near Seongbukcheon stream and seating up to 150 people. On an autumn evening the writer took a terrace seat and ordered the spicy Korean beef bone broth tendon hot pot (suji jeongol) course, added ongsimi (chewy rice dumplings filled with mandu stuffing) and finished with kalguksu noodles and a generous egg porridge cooked in the leftover broth. Yesulgwan suits Sungshin Women's University groups who want open-air terrace drinking and large group tables in one place.
