Isigny butter gyukatsu at Ichigyu, a Gwanghwamun Japanese restaurant
Ichigyu Gwanghwamun Branch is a gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) restaurant on basement level 1 of Le Meilleur Jongno Town, a 2-3 minute walk from Gwanghwamun Station Exit 4 in Jongno, Seoul. Two friends catching up after a job change ordered the same gyukatsu, melted an Isigny butter cup on the grill set into each table, and drank Kirin draft beer, with wasabi, salt and chili sauce keeping the beef from tasting heavy. Ichigyu Gwanghwamun Branch works well for a weekday office lunch or a low-key date.
