Mother-daughter tonkatsu lunch in Seongnae-dong, Seoul: Riae Premium
Riae Premium Olympic Park Branch is a Japanese-style tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) restaurant in Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, near Olympic Park's North Gate 2. On a weekend visit at 1pm with her mother, the writer ordered the fillet mignon hire-katsu (tenderloin cutlet), the cold soba roseu (loin cutlet) set and a side of Tokyo Spice Curry. The hire-katsu was extremely tender with a faintly pink centre, and the Tokyo Spice Curry was rich, meaty and pleasantly spicy.
