Selected Nicks is an 8-floor rooftop café in Gangnam, Seoul, 323 meters from Gangnam Station exit 3. Visiting alone on a weekday afternoon, I ordered a classic tiramisu, a fig almond financier and an iced americano on the 1st floor, then ate at a window bar table in the 2nd-floor gallery café. Selected Nicks stayed calm with mostly solo and working guests, and both the dessert and the coffee were good enough to bring me back.
Comma Hair & Makeup is a hair and makeup salon on the 2nd floor of a building down the alley from Exit 2 of Hongik University Station in Mapo, Seoul. Booked through Naver Reservation, a session with designer Heeah ran about 90 minutes and covered warm-tone daily makeup plus natural wave hair, finished with pink-apricot blush over a glowy base.
