Magok Station sashimi bowl and whole eel bowl lunch: Ilpum Magok
Ilpum Magok is a kaisendon (seafood rice bowl) restaurant on Gonghang-daero near Magok Station in Gangseo, Seoul. The writer came for lunch with her mother and ordered the (special) sashimidong and the whole-eel unagidong, which arrived with soup and chawanmushi, plus udon, a croquette given for writing a Naver receipt review, and dessert. Thick cuts of sashimi and one whole grilled eel made this mother-daughter lunch at Ilpum Magok a completely satisfying meal.
