Magok octopus restaurant with peanut sauce ssam: Jju Baksa
Jju Baksa Magok Branch is a webfoot octopus stir-fry restaurant on Magokdong-ro 10-gil in Gangseo, Seoul, with both indoor seats and outdoor patio (yajang) tables. A couple ordered the 33,000 won fried rice set on mild spice — described as about as hot as Shin Ramyun — and added fried egg, corn butter and cheese rice cake, with the complimentary peanut sauce, perilla leaves, pickled radish and flying fish roe making the best wrap of the meal. When the wind picked up, staff brought out a windbreak, so lunch on the Jju Baksa patio finished in comfort.
