Gyodae Station Korean BBQ comparing 3 pork cuts, with somaek: Galgol

Galgol Yeontanjip Seocho Gyodae Branch is a retro-style briquette-grill Korean BBQ restaurant in Seocho, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from Gyodae Station. On a Thursday at 6pm, a group of friends walked in without a reservation and grilled all three cuts: briquette rock-salt pork belly (15,900 won), juljuri teukmoksal pork neck (15,900 won) and seolhwa kkodeulsal (17,900 won), then finished with briquette fried rice (6,900 won). With somaek mixed in the kitchen and every table full by 7pm, Galgol Yeontanjip suited an after-work group dinner well.
