Gamjatang restaurant near Sangye Station with a ramen finish: Somunnan
Somunnan Gamjatang is a pork bone stew and hangover soup restaurant of more than 30 years in Nowon, Seoul, a five-minute walk from Sangye Station Exit 2. The small gamjatang costs 36,000 won and comes with sujebi (hand-torn dough) to drop in yourself, and the meal ended with a 2,000 won ramen noodle add-on, for a total of 50,000 won with soju and beer. Plenty of ground perilla makes the broth nutty rather than spicy, so Somunnan Gamjatang works as both a proper meal and a drinking spot.
