Nokdo Susan is a fixed-price sashimi shop at stalls 57 and 58 in Daecheonhang Fish Market in Boryeong, Chungnam. The writer chose a live flounder from the tank, had it filleted and packed to go, and got a free plate of seasonal gizzard shad sashimi that filled out dinner for two back at the lodging. The best part was the packing: Nokdo Susan filled the ice box so generously that the sashimi was still cold after a one-hour drive.
