24,000-won hairtail stew set for two in Cheongju: Jeju Badang
Jeju Badang is a hairtail stew and grilled fish restaurant on the second floor of a building on Seohyeonnam-ro in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju. On a first visit, two diners ordered the Jeju boneless hairtail stew and pot rice set at 24,000 won per person and worked through bone-free hairtail, scorched rice from the pot, a free self-serve bar stocked with boneless fried chicken, plus a kids' playroom and a large parking lot. Jeju Badang was a first visit, but an easy one to repeat whenever Korean home-style food is what you want.
