Late-night Osong restaurant in Cheongju: pork stir-fry mixed with rice
Haengbokhan Udon Gage Cheongju Osong Branch is an udon and pork cutlet restaurant on Osongsaengmyeong 12-ro in Osong-eup, Cheongju, Chungbuk, open daily until 2am so it doubles as a second-round drinking spot. On a second round after a wedding invitation gathering, the writer and three friends ordered dwaeji duruchigi (spicy pork stir-fry) with two bowls of rice and added gimgaru (seasoned seaweed flakes) to mix in, plus a regular pork cutlet with soju and beer. The regular customer's trick of two rice bowls plus gimgaru turned out to be the real reason to come to Haengbokhan Udon Gage.
