Boryeong live seafood shop: 2kg flounder filleted by hand, Nokdo Susan
Nokdo Susan is a live fish and seafood shop at units 57 and 58, right at the entrance of Daecheonhang Fish Market in Boryeong, Chungnam. One flounder just over 2kg was picked from the tanks, filleted and packed entirely by hand by the second-generation owners, then carried to the accommodation in a cooler packed with plenty of ice. The flounder sashimi was chewy and sweeter with every bite, and with a free serving of sea squirt a family of four finished the whole fish as sushi over seasoned vinegar rice.
