Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo Sintanjin Branch is a clay-oven grilled fish restaurant that recently opened in Sintanjin, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon. The writer ordered Yeonggwang gulbi (dried yellow croaker) and mackerel together and filled out the meal from the self-bar with bibimbap namul (seasoned vegetables), japchae (glass noodles), pork cutlet and tteokbokki, parking in the restaurant's own lot right out front. Between the clean dining room and the generous self-bar, Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo is worth a return trip for a family dinner.
