Daejeon lunch spot in Daeheung-dong for peanut chogye bibimmyeon: Usul
Usul is a fusion Korean restaurant on the first floor of Jungangno Centum City in Daeheung-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, a 7-minute walk from Jungangno Station. Stopping in on the way to buy bread at Sungsimdang, the writer had peanut chogye bibimmyeon (chilled noodles in cold broth with peanut sauce) and gochujang yukhoe (raw beef) with yubu rolls (fried tofu skin rolls) for a weekday lunch and was seated with no wait. Usul is a good pick when you want familiar Korean dishes served a little differently.
