Yesan chicken stir-fry takeout for a couple's pension dinner: Sijang
Sijang Dakbokkeum is a shishito pepper chicken stir-fry (dakbokkeum) restaurant inside Yesan Market in Yesan, Chungnam. On a trip with her boyfriend, the writer ordered the boneless shishito pepper dakbokkeum for 25,000 won with a mozzarella cheese topping for 3,000 won as takeout, and walked one lap around Yesan Market during the 20-minute cooking wait. Back at the pension, Sijang Dakbokkeum's chicken had no off-smell in the skin and the sauce had soaked in well, making it an easy, satisfying dinner.
