Jeungpyeong tofu restaurant with corkage-free makgeolli: Gamnamujip
Jeungpyeong Son Dubu Gamnamujip is a handmade tofu restaurant set in a hanok across from Jeungpyeong Elementary School in Jeungpyeong, Chungbuk. Three of us ordered the gamnamu hand-tofu hot pot for two (17,000 won per person, 34,000 won total), the grilled pork tofu duruchigi at 15,000 won and Jeungpyeong makgeolli at 3,000 won, and the table came with clear sundubu, soybean pulp soup, ten side dishes and five free extra pieces of tofu. With corkage-free drinking plus free ice cream and soybean pulp to finish, Jeungpyeong Son Dubu Gamnamujip is a wholesome home-style Korean spread.
