Mild spice level 1 chicken feet combo in Hongdae: Cheongnyeon 1987
Cheongnyeon Dakbal 1987 Hongdae Branch is a soup-style dakbal (chicken feet) bar near Exit 3 of Hongik University Station, on the Yeonnam-dong side of Hongdae in Seoul. Two diners ordered the Cheongnyeon Dakbal Combo (₩42,000) with added daechang (beef intestine) and napjak mandu (flat dumplings), picked spice level 1 with boneless feet, and cooled the heat with the combo's "fire squad" sides — mukjabap (chilled acorn jelly soup), bean sprout soup and tuna mayo rice balls. Even a spice-shy eater finished the whole combo at Cheongnyeon Dakbal 1987 without trouble.
