Korean restaurant in Mapo, Seoul: gomtang at Doonjeong Hongdae
Doonjeong Hongdae Direct Branch is a Korean restaurant about three minutes on foot from Exit 1 of Hongik University Station in Mapo, Seoul. My husband and I had clear gomtang, special clear gomtang, and meat kimchi jeon; the light broth and generous meat in the special bowl were satisfying, though seats filled quickly after we ordered.
