Lightweight RFID passport wallet for travel: 팩클리

In short

팩클리 RFID-Blocking Passport Wallet is a travel wallet for carrying a passport, cards, and cash. I tested the black version with one passport and found its 95 g nylon build, divided bill compartments, and elastic closure convenient. Verdict: a light, easy-to-carry travel wallet, though loose coins are difficult to sort.

While preparing for an overseas trip, I chose a wallet that could carry both my passport and cash. I looked for an RFID-blocking option in hopes of protecting my passport information, while also checking its light weight and storage layout.

How are the weight and material?

The 팩클리 passport wallet came in two colors, black and gray, and I chose the versatile black. At 95 g and made of nylon, it felt light. Its clean design also seemed easy to use with just about any outfit.

How are the passport, cards, and cash divided up?

I put one passport in the clear plastic compartment inside. On the right, there were several slots for cards or an ID. The bill storage was split into two sections and also had an inner zip compartment, giving me three places in total to separate bills.

There was another zip pocket at the back for coins, and the shoulder strap was stored there. It also had a pen holder, which was handy for bringing along small essentials.

Can it be worn crossbody without a bag?

You can keep it in a bag like a wallet, or attach the shoulder strap and wear it crossbody when you are carrying only cards, a passport, and cash. With the strap extended to its longest length, it felt long enough for an adult man to wear comfortably. It was convenient to pull it out and use it right away instead of searching for a wallet inside a bag.

Were the card storage and closure convenient?

The bill compartment was roomy, and the card slots were enough for me. I packed one Mastercard and one Visa card. The inner zip compartment was also useful for receipts or tickets.

Instead of Velcro or a snap, it closes with an elastic cord. It was easy to open and close without feeling fussy.

What was disappointing about storing coins?

When I put coins in the zip pocket, they got mixed together, making it hard to find the one I needed. A Japanese coin holder can be purchased separately, so I thought it might be worth looking at too if you are preparing for a trip to Japan where you will use lots of coins.
