Magok eel restaurant lunch special, umaki for ₩1,900 more: Kikukawa

Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa One Grove Branch is a Nagoya-style eel rice bowl restaurant in Gangseo, Seoul, a 6-minute walk from Magok Station Exit 2. On a weekday lunch visit, adding just 1,900 won to the basic hitsumabushi (eel over rice) brought a lunch special with 2 pieces of umaki (eel omelette), and the charcoal-grilled eel was crisp outside and juicy inside. Kikukawa is worth a trip for anyone missing the hitsumabushi they ate in Nagoya.
