Dry skin cleansing balm for blackheads: HEEDA Charcoal Balm
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a cleansing balm tested by a writer with dry, sensitive skin and concerns about blackheads around the nose. It melted smoothly over makeup, emulsified easily, and left the writer’s skin feeling fresh rather than tight, though this is one person’s experience.

How did it feel on dry skin after cleansing?

My face tends to feel very tight after washing, so I choose cleansers carefully. With this product, I felt less dryness even while cleansing. My skin felt moisturized immediately afterward, and I felt no tightness—even enough that I did not feel I had to apply skincare right away.

How did it remove makeup and cleanse around the nose?

When I scooped it out with my fingers and spread it over my face, it melted with body heat and turned soft like an oil. It felt like it dissolved base makeup, eyeliner, and mascara without needing a separate remover.

When I added water to emulsify it, the oil turned milky. I used it by gently massaging around my nose in particular. With continued use, I felt the area around my nose became cleaner and smoother.

How was the finish after emulsifying and rinsing?

The emulsifying process was not difficult, and after rinsing with water, it finished fresh without any residue. In my experience, it suited my sensitive skin without irritation.

I was satisfied with its cleansing power, moisturizing feel, and overall feel in use. I would consider recommending it to people concerned about both blackheads and dryness.
