Baby chair dining in Pyeongtaek: braised rib set at Suksudaega
Suksudaega is an all-private-room Korean set-meal restaurant on Gangbyeon-ro in Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi. Visiting with a baby and her mother, the writer ordered the wang-galbi-jjim set (braised short rib set, 39,000 won on weekdays and 49,000 won on weekends), which ran from sweet pumpkin porridge through yukhoe (beef tartare), perilla leaf pancakes, royal japchae, Korean beef tteokgalbi, slow-cooked braised ribs and cauldron rice. The four-person room at Suksudaega is too tight for a stroller, so a baby chair is the easier choice, and it suits a quiet meal with parents.
