Weekend night at a Seolleung sushi izakaya: abalone nigiri, Sakai
Sakai is an okonomi sushi izakaya a 7-minute walk from Seolleung Station Exit 1 in Gangnam, Seoul. On a weekend evening, Sakai served salmon, abalone, flounder, egg and horse mackerel nigiri with draft beer and the new seafood ramyeon, and the abalone nigiri stacked several slices for double the chewy bite. Open daily until 1am, Sakai works just as well for dinner as for a late second round.
