Chilly-day lunch at a Dongtan Station pho restaurant: Mibundang
Mibundang Dongtan Station Branch is a pho (Vietnamese rice noodle soup) restaurant on the first floor of the Hayanpungcha Bakery building by Dongtan Station in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. On a chilly lunch hour the writer ordered brisket-tendon pho (₩12,500), brisket pho (₩10,000) and an assorted fried platter (₩8,500), and liked the small touches: hutgae tea and parasols for waiting guests, spoons tucked under the table, candy and mouthwash by the door. With bar-style seats that make solo dining easy and quick table turnover, Mibundang is a solid lunch pick near Dongtan Station.
