Namyangju chueotang restaurant with a 28-seat group room: Chuojeong
Chuojeong Namwon Chueotang is a loach soup (chueotang) restaurant on the main Geumgang-ro road in Jinjeop-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi, where the broth is simmered fresh every morning from domestic yellow-clay loach. Visiting alone, the writer ordered spicy chueotang and fried loach, which came with hot-stone pot rice and scorched rice tea at the end and no fishy smell at all. With a room seating up to 28, Chuojeong Namwon Chueotang also works well as a group meal stop before a day at Gwangneung Arboretum.
