Sokcho market stall grilling squid sundae 10 min each: Ddogi-ne Twigim
Ddogi-ne Twigim (서민갑부 똑이네튀김) is a snack shop on the first floor of the Sokcho Jungang Market arcade in Sokcho, Gangwon, selling squid sundae (stuffed squid), tempura and chicken gangjeong. The writer ordered 1.5 scorched-rice squid sundae for 22,000 won, watched each squid grill for about 10 minutes, then took it back to the lodging and reheated it in a frying pan. Ddogi-ne Twigim's scorched-rice squid sundae was tasty even cold, but it is best eaten hot right away.
