Dongtan cockle jjamppong noodle house: spice level 1 vs 2 taste test
Bultina Kkomak Jjamppong Dongtan Namgwangjang Branch is a Chinese restaurant specialising in kkomak (cockle) jjamppong, a spicy seafood noodle soup, right in front of the Namgwangjang public parking lot in Dongtan, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. Craving something spicy after a stressful day, the writer and her boyfriend ordered one level 1 and one level 2 cockle jjamppong to compare the heat: level 1 came out spicier than Shin Ramyun, while level 2 felt like eating Yeopgi tteokbokki without the cheese. At 2pm on a weekday there was no wait at all, and Bultina also has solo seats, so dining alone is easy.
