Haetan, a Byeongjeom squid restaurant: squid salad, fried dumplings
Haetan Hwaseong Byeongjeom is a squid restaurant on the second floor near the Byeongjeom shopping district in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. Two of us visited at 4pm on a Saturday and ordered the signature hot-plate squid, the squid vinegar salad (ojingeo chomuchim) and fried squid dumplings, and the salad arrived on a wide platter heaped with squid and minari (water dropwort). If you love squid, Haetan is worth the trip to Byeongjeom.
