Iksan Chinese restaurant with seafood siraegi jjamppong: Hwangbihong
Hwangbihong is a Chinese restaurant tucked into an alley in Busong-dong, Iksan, Jeonbuk, and a spot locals recommend. The order at Hwangbihong was seafood siraegi jjamppong (dried radish greens, ₩11,000), fried rice (₩10,000) and mini tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork, ₩12,000), with firm domestic siraegi and green noodles pulled in-house with chives mixed into the dough. If you like siraegi, Hwangbihong leaves nothing to be desired in either portion or flavour.
