Pyeongtaek kalguksu dinner with parents before 8pm: Goryeo Mulchong
Goryeo Mulchong Kalguksu is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) restaurant on Pyeongnam-ro in Bijeon-dong, Pyeongtaek. Taking picky parents out for dinner, the writer ordered the three-person set — pear leaf herbal boiled pork, napa cabbage dumplings, clam and mussel kalguksu and fried rice — and stirred sour kimchi from the self-serve bar into the broth for a spicy kick. Set menus were sold out before 8pm, a sign of how many older diners fill Goryeo Mulchong Kalguksu for family meals.
