Medium-spice jjimdak for three at Pungnyeon Kalguksu, Namwon
Pungnyeon Kalguksu is a kalguksu and jjimdak (braised spicy chicken) restaurant near the Namwon city hall in Jeonbuk. A family of three ordered the regular jjimdak for 38,000 won at medium spice on their last night in Namwon, ate through the potatoes and glass noodles, then fried rice in the leftover sauce. The portion was generous enough that they packed the rest to go and enjoyed it with beer back at their lodging. Verdict: hearty, mild-friendly, and worth the leftovers.
