Kkankkan Jjokbal Suwan Branch is a charcoal-grilled jokbal (pork trotters) and bossam restaurant on the main road of the Suwan food alley in Gwangsan, Gwangju. Two people ordered the medium charcoal-grilled jokbal for 42,000 won and added two bottles of soju alongside the complimentary steamed egg and sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew), and the chewy skin, moist meat and light smoky aroma made it plenty for two. If you have only ever had jokbal delivered, Kkankkan Jjokbal Suwan Branch is worth a visit for it served hot in the dining room.
