Bongdam bori-gulbi set with namul side bar in late pregnancy: Hwadamga
Hwadamga is a grilled fish and Korean set-meal restaurant in Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. On a day when digestion felt heavy in late pregnancy, the writer ordered the bori-gulbi (dried salted yellow croaker) set for 27,000 won and the flame-grilled pork set for 16,000 won, added suhyangmi hotpot rice for 2,000 won, and filled plates at the self-serve namul side dish bar. The bori-gulbi was chewy like dried fish jerky, and the suhyangmi hotpot rice with its scorched-rice bottom was the most memorable part of the meal.
